These terms apply when you download or use Tidyback ("the app"), made by Sloth Lab Inc. ("we", "us"). By using the app you agree to them.

What the app does

Tidyback helps you review the photos and videos on your device and delete the ones you choose. It suggests groups such as similar photos, screenshots and large videos, but you decide what is deleted.

Deleting photos

• Deletion is done by your phone's system. On iPhone, deleted items move to Recently Deleted; on Android 11 and later, to the trash. Both normally keep them for 30 days, and you can recover them there during that time.
• On Android 10 and earlier there is no trash, so deletion is permanent. The app warns you before deleting.
• Once items are removed from Recently Deleted or the trash, neither we nor the app can bring them back. Tidyback does not keep copies of your photos.
• Suggestions (for example "best photo" in a group of similar photos) can be wrong. Please check before you confirm, and keep a backup of photos that matter to you.

Free use and Lifetime

• Browsing, scanning, swiping and adding to the delete basket are free and unlimited. Confirming deletions is free for up to 100 items per calendar month; the count resets on the 1st of each month (your local time) and unused deletes don't carry over.
• Lifetime is a one-time purchase that removes the monthly limit. It is not a subscription and does not renew. What you buy stays yours.
• Purchases are made through the Apple App Store or Google Play and follow their terms. Refunds are handled by Apple or Google under their policies.
• You can restore Lifetime on a new or reset device signed in to the same Apple ID or Google account (Settings → Restore purchase).

Acceptable use

Use the app only for lawful purposes and only for photos you have the right to manage. Don't reverse-engineer, disrupt or misuse the app.

Ownership

The app, its design and its content belong to Sloth Lab Inc. Your photos are yours; we have no rights to them and never receive them.

App Store users

If you got Tidyback from the Apple App Store, Apple's Standard Licensed Application End User License Agreement (apple.com/legal/internet-services/itunes/dev/stdeula) also applies. Apple is not responsible for the app or its support.

Disclaimer and limitation of liability

The app is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. To the maximum extent permitted by law, we are not liable for any loss of photos or data, or for indirect or consequential damages, arising from your use of the app. Nothing in these terms limits rights you have under consumer protection laws that cannot be waived.

Changes

We may update these terms. The date at the top shows the latest version. If you keep using the app after a change, the updated terms apply.
